Edit framework details
Framework details explain what the framework is for before readers inspect the competency grid.
Open the Details tab
Use the Details tab to review and edit framework metadata. This is separate from editing categories, competencies, and expectations.
- 1. Open the framework.
- 2. Go to the Details tab.
- 3. Choose the edit action.
- 4. Update the fields.
- 5. Save changes.
Edit job levels carefully
Job levels shape the expectation grid. Update them when the framework needs a different level structure.
Review competencies after changing levels so expectations still line up with the intended progression.
Unsaved changes
If you close an editing modal with unsaved changes, SkillsMap asks you to confirm before discarding them.
