Builders is where teams create career frameworks that explain expectations clearly across roles and levels.
Frameworks and job families
A framework describes expectations for a role group. In SkillsMap, a framework is built around a job family, such as Software Engineering or Product Management.
The job family includes details like department, description, and job levels.
Categories and competencies
Categories group related competencies. For example, a framework might include categories such as Delivery, Technical Design, Collaboration, or Leadership.
Competencies describe capabilities within those categories.
Expectations and proficiency
Expectations explain what a competency looks like at each job level.
Proficiency levels are reusable stages used by the library to describe how a competency grows over time.
Drafts, published versions, and shared views
Editing changes the draft. Publishing creates the official published snapshot.
Sharing creates a public link to the published snapshot. Publishing and sharing are separate actions.
