Getting Started

Choose the right workflow

Start with the work you are trying to complete. Most users either manage organization setup or build frameworks in Builders.

Create or maintain a framework

Use Builders when you need to create a job family, define levels, write expectations, publish the framework, or share it with others.

  1. 1. Open Builders.
  2. 2. Create or open a framework.
  3. 3. Edit details, categories, competencies, and expectations.
  4. 4. Publish when the framework is ready.

Set up the organization

Use Organization Admin when you need to invite users, assign seats, manage departments, review billing, or configure default Builder language.

Prepare reusable competency language

Use the Competency Library when the same competencies should appear across multiple frameworks.

Build the library before importing shared competencies into job families, or publish useful job-family competencies back into the library later.

Improve AI-assisted work

Use AI Context when you want SkillsMap to use organization, department, or job-family source material during AI-assisted framework creation.
