Edit a library competency

Editing a library competency changes the shared source that frameworks can reuse.

Open the competency

Find the competency card in the library and open it to edit details or expectations.

  1. 1. Open the Competency Library.
  2. 2. Search or filter for the competency.
  3. 3. Open the card.
  4. 4. Edit the shared content.
  5. 5. Save changes.

Edit shared expectations

Update expectations when the shared language should improve for future framework use.

Add contextual guidance when questions, examples, or cautions help authors apply the competency correctly.

After editing

Frameworks that use the competency may need to review differences between their local version and the updated library version.
